Biostatistics Consultation Services

Mission

The mission of the DCI's biostatistics consultation service is to apply methods for quantitative research in the health sciences and support the process of research approval by assisting with research proposal design and sample size requirements. The Consultation Service provides assistance with protocol development, data analysis, publication and presentation assistance and statistical training to SRMC Staff and GME students. The Service offers training seminars by request.

Services Offered

• Consult with investigators about study design
• Determine appropriate statistical tests
• Compute power and sample size calculations
• Advise investigators on data storage layout
• Perform and explain data analysis
• Proof/edit manuscripts for correct statistical interpretation
