To Make Appointments

  1. Call Central Appointment Line at (210) 916-9900 and follow the prompts to the correct clinic and type of appointment.
  2. Log on to www.RelayHealth.com and choose the "request an appointment" option.
  3. Log on to www.tricareonline.com and choose the "book an appointment" option.

Walk-In Services

The APCMH Clinics offer walk-in services for immunizations, routine scheduled medication injections, wound care, pregnancy tests, and Blood Pressure checks.

What is Emergency (ER) Care

TRICARE defines as emergency as a medical condition creating a threat to loss of life, limb or eyesight, or where there is unrelieved pain as preceived by a "prudent layperson" - someone with a limited knowledge of health and medicine. Some examples of emergency situations are severe bleeding, chest pains, severe difficulty breathing, severe back injury, severe eye injuries, broken bones, etc.

What is Urgent Care

Urgent healthcare is needed for an illness or injury that should be addressed as soon as possible, but is not an emergency (threat to life or limb). Some examples of Urgent Care problems are urinary tract infections, migraine headaches, influenza-like illness, rising fever, or possible pneumonia. If you have a need for urgent care after clinic hours, call 1(800) 874-2273 and the Nurse Advice Line will assist you in finding appropriate care.

TRICARE policy states that if a patient does not call to receive authorization before being seen, there will be a bill generated under the TRICARE Prime Point-Of-Service (POS) option, requiring out-of-pocket payment for the medical bill incurred.
