Guide to Behavioral Health Resources: This list provides information on the many behavioral health resources available to servicemembers, their families, and other health care beneficiaries at Fort Sam Houston and across the San Antonio Military Health System. This site provides guidance from who to call, where to go for emergencies, to resources for assistance in accessing behavioral health assessment and treatment, to resources available to obtain support in difficult times. Included are national hotline numbers, contact information for all clinics at Fort Sam Houston, contact information for Chaplains, and more. This printable file makes a good handout to ensure all our health care beneficiaries have ready access to the resources they may need, if they need help.

Who: Active Duty. Dependents with urgent needs may be seen for stabilization and assistance with access to TRICARE and other services.
What: Provides individual, group and medication therapy as well as case management. Provides Command Directed Behavioral Health Evaluations.
Where: 4178 Petroleum Dr. BLDG 3528R, on Ft Sam Houston near the RV Park.
When: Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4:30 pm. Provides Walk-In/Triage Service during duty hours.

Campus Behavioral Health Services (210) 808-2534/2584

Who: Students enrolled in Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) programs.
What: Provides individual, group and medication therapy as well as case management. Provides Command Directed Behavioral Health Evaluations.
Where: 3100 Schofield Rd, BLDG 1179, in the Ft Sam Houston Clinic.
When: Mon-Fri 6:00 am-3:00 pm. Provides Walk-In/Triage Service during duty hours.

Marriage and Family Therapy (210) 539-9567

Who: Active Duty and Active Duty Family Members
What: Provides marital, couples, family, individual and group therapy

When: Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4:30 pm. Provides Walk-In/Triage Service during duty hours.

Social Work Case Management Services (210)539-9580

Who: Active Duty
What: Performs assessments, coordinates referrals, provides monitoring and follow-up, performs crisis management, and liaison between command and network providers. This applies to Active Duty seen by either on or off post providers.

Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services (210) 916-4342

Who: Dependent Children up to 18 years.
What: Provides individual, family, group and medication therapy.
Where: 3551 Roger Brooke Drive, Ft Sam Houston, TX, 78234, near Pediatrics in the main hospital.
When: Mon-Fri 7:30am- 4:30 pm

Behavioral Health Referral Services

Clinical Health Psychology Services (210) 916-1063

Who: Active Duty and Adult beneficiaries.
What: Provides individual and group therapy to assist in management of medical symptoms, pain, medical treatment adherence and emotional sequelae associated with acute or chronic medical conditions. Group therapies are provided for general psychological issues. Patients are seen on referral from medical providers including primary care providers or through patient care medical teams.

Neuropsychology Services (210) 916-7641

Who: Active Duty. Dependent and Retirees are seen on a space-available basis. Appointments are available by consult from a referring medical provider.
What: Provides neurocognitive evaluation services.

Intensive Outpatient Behavioral Health Program (IOP) (210) 916-8822

Who: Active Duty (Permanent Party), Students enrolled in METC, and Warrior in Transition referred by PCM or Mental Health provider. No walk-in services are available for non-IOP patients. Programming hours depends on Track assigned.
What: Provides intensive outpatient behavioral health day treatment. Four therapeutic treatment tracks are available (General Behavioral Health, Women’s, Trainee, and Chemical Dependency) and patients are in programming for four weeks.

Inpatient Services
