Outpatient Service
BAMC Department of Social Work Outpatient Services provides the following:
- Counseling - Supportive counseling addressing environmental and psychosocial concerns, quality of life and health care issues, financial concerns, and benefits counseling; family counseling, marital counseling, sexual assault counseling, HIV assessment and counseling, and dialysis care support.
- Information and Referral - Information can be provided to patients who need assistance with local, state, and federal resources to include services such as Medicare, Medicaid, public/private transportation, temporary lodging, and meals delivered to the home; adult day care, and adolescent and adult pregnancy.
Individual, marital, and family counseling is also now available to defense health program beneficiaries at BAMC primary care clinics. For an appointment or consultation at a primary care clinic near you, contact:

Providers can send a consult to Outpatient Social Work (BFEA) and the patient/family will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
